PETA Suggests Women To Not Have Sex With Meat Eating Men To ‘Save The Planet’

For those who didn’t know already, PETA is a charity working toward spreading awareness of animal cruelty and is constantly encouraging people to go vegan. They usually have a positive message but recently, they made an absurd statement and are being dragged by netizens. PETA Germany posted a statement, encouraging women to stop having sex with men who eat meat! They claimed that imposing a sex ban on boyfriends and husbands would help ”save the world”.

Apparently, a report showed that men have a greater contribution to the emission of carbon footprint, as they consume 41% more meat than women. Taking this reference, PETA stated, “Men need to take accountability for their actions.” Strangely, they ended the statement with a winky emoji making us wonder if they even realize how big of a statement they’ve made.

Describing meat-eating men, they also wrote, “We all know them—the suburban men with lager bottles in hand, brandishing tongs whereas cooking frankfurters on their costly gas flame broils. These grill experts accept that they can demonstrate their manliness to themselves and their individual people through their utilization of meat, not as it were hurting creatures but moreover harming the planet.”

This is PETA claiming that men who grill meat are doing so to seem more “masculine”. Which,  as they claim, leads to increased toxic masculinity. So, the only solution they came up with to tackle the problem of climate change and toxic masculinity, is for women to stop having sex with men.

Netizens could not believe the absurdity of the whole situation and this is how the internet reacted:
