Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya Makes Us Wonder What A Nepali Werewolf Movie Would Look Like; Here’s How We Imagine It

Bollywood has had a huge impact on the Nepali audiences, as every one of us grew up with it — dancing along to bops and watching classic movies on the Television. So, the recent trailer release of Bhediya, starring Varun Dhawan as the lead character definitely got the Nepali audiences thrilled too.

Since it’s the first time we have seen Bollywood play with a unique storyline based on werewolves, the teaser got netizens questioning if they could pull it off. The heavy CGI and storyline needed for such script must be top notch.

But, with the fantastic trailer that we witnessed, it made us wonder how Nepali filmmakers would execute a movie based on werewolves. Judging by Nepali cinema’s history of failed CGI attempts, and a lack of fantasy based scripts, it would be fair to not expect the best. Here are some things we think would be different if Bhediya was made in Nepal!

The CGI investment would be a cat costume

The werewolf would use his skills to stalk women

Despite it being a werewolf movie, the central plot of the movie would be LOVE

The creators won’t be able to resist adding a gay best friend who says things like 'malai pani toka na'

A pointless song would be shot in Mustang, with only the actor being warm in his fuzzy suit

Instead of the classic Jungle Book theme song, Nepali filmmakers would use the Eku Eku song

All the plot development would go down the drain in the end because the werewolf dies of a brain tumor.
