Sasto Deal and Daraz Just Got Into A Social Media Meme War To See Who Has The Cheaper Price

Who doesn’t love to see banters going between two rivals? It becomes even better when the rivals are two giant e-commerce website claiming to provide the cheapest price on their products.

As Dashain approaches, Sastodeal and Daraz are both running big discount campaigns on their websites. Dashain being the biggest festival celebrated in Nepal, there is no doubt that the rivalry between the two is at its peak, with both of them fighting over getting the biggest slice of the pie.

It all started yesterday, when Daraz threw the first jab at Sastodeal by posting this on Facebook.

Daraz poked fun of Sastodeal for not only copying their image but also charging more for the products.

“Maybe not copy our images next time? Get a better deal at #DarazDashainDhamaka at just Rs. 2650.”

Sastodeal didn’t hold back and replied with a snappy comeback of their own.

With The Post Caption :

“Oops!….we screwed up our images but not our deals. BID DEAL@ SASTODEAL happening now!”

Netizens just seemed to love the drama between the two websites.

Twitter Reacted:

While Sasto Deal vs. Daraz battle still continues, a third contestant seems to have entered the ring. Durbar Mart, which is also an e-commerce website responded today by posting this:

The battle just seems to be getting more interesting as we speak. Something tells me, we might be getting more than we bargained for if this keeps going. Kudos to all the marketing teams involved in coming up with such ingenious ideas to hype up our enthusiasm to shop for Dashain, in what has been a very dull year.
